I just had a real estate agent who doesn’t live in Pine Mountain Club call me to schedule an appointment to show their client one of my listings. Great News! Then the agent asked me if there was a gate code to enter Pine Mountain Club…. If you live in Pine Mountain Club you know this is a silly question. How can you confidently represent your client in their home purchase in a community if you don’t even know if the community is gated or not?
I have another listing where the buyer agent lives out of state and has never even entered the listed property and can’t attend any inspections or tours. How can you adequately represent your client in this situation?
If you are looking to buy or sell in Pine Mountain Club, you need to be confident you are being represented by an agent who is familiar with the community and can be present to guide you through property inspections and answer any questions you may have. You need to know that every home has a septic tank, we have our own private water company, we have many types of wildlife including bears and the rules of the community to make sure we co-exist with these animals. You need to know it snows and which streets are very icy. You need to know that we don’t have mail delivery and we have the cutest post office with PO Boxes. You need to know we don’t have trash pick up, but take our trash to a transfer center with a great recycling setup. There is just so much more you need to know about our amazing mountain community that only local agents know.
If you choose Peak to Peak Realty to handle your real estate needs, you can be confident that Laura, Steve, and Wendy all live in Pine Mountain Club and will be there to show you homes, attend inspections, and be available after your purchase to answer any questions. As a seller you can be sure we will make sure the buyer of your home’s agent is educated about mountain life!
